Carnatic music is a classical music form that is popular and nurtured in South India. The three legs of Carnatic music are “Raaga”, “Laya” and “Thala”. Veena is an instrument that can bring each of the above in its purest form.
We currently offer the following classes:
1. Veena Beginner classes
2. Veena Intermediate classes
Through these classes students are also trained in Carnatic Vocal music and Rhythm. Each student is given individual attention and class progression is based on the student’s ability, availability and practice.
With the advent of technology, Raagalayam also offers online classes to students who want to learn from the comfort of their home.
