We have been teaching veena for many years and are happy to have enriched many students lives. For us each student is very special. We take interest in each student’s learning experience, the pace they like to progress and tailor the lessons accordingly

Mrs. Rajashree Rao instructor at Raagalayam Veena Academy developed her passion to veena at an young age of 9. She started her experience under the guidance of her Guru Mrs. Lakshmi Rangasayi (renowned AIR artist and performer). Through years Mrs. Rao has performed at many stages and received many awards and trophies. She always believe that learning music is a never ending ocean. She continues her learning and enjoys teaching at the same time.

Rajashree’s dream is to establish Raagalaya as an institute of fine arts that focuses on making Carnatic music and Veena aware all around the world  in its truest sense and in spreading the knowledge thus inducing in the younger generation the true spirit of our culture and heritage
